Fab Owners Association (FOA) is an international, non-profit, mutual benefit corporation composed of semiconductor and MEMS manufacturers, along with our industry suppliers. We are headquartered in Cupertino, California, in the heart of Silicon Valley. FOA was conceived to provide a forum for semiconductor manufacturing executives to discuss and act on common manufacturing issues. The association was founded in 2004.

MAX's compound semiconductors benchmark study that was featured as the key note presentation in CS MANTECH in 2006, and included most of the leading CS fabs, just got better. The study now includes two asian fabs. Among the companies participating are industry leaders that range from commercial power houses to defense high rel providers. A set of high level indicators were presented to the forum. This benchmark database is now the largest and most comprehensive knowledge base, proving that the CS community is serious about improving its capabilities.
